How long has CASA been around?

Alaska CASA operates local programs in Anchorage, Bethel, Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai (in partnership with Kenaitze Indian Tribe) and the Mat-Su Valley. In addition to the programs operated by Alaska CASA, there are several Tribal CASA programs in Alaska: Kenaitze Indian Tribe CASA Program in Kenai; Ukteagvik CASA Program in Barrow; and Gwichyaa Zhee Gwich'in Tribal CASA Program in Ft. Yukon.  Tribal CASA programs train volunteers to serve cases handled in Tribal courts.
